Our church seeks to walk alongside and serve our neighbors in need not only in our local neighborhood but throughout NYC. One of the ways we do so is by partnering with Hope for New York and its affiliates.
Join us for a time where we will learn more about the various needs throughout NYC, hear stories of how congregants are involved, and pray for the work of our partner affiliates.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Relationship Building
Do For One: Info session on Monday, May 12, at 7:15 pm.
Safe Families: Info session on Saturday, May 17, 10 am to 2 pm.
In the neighborhood (one-time or ongoing)
All Angels’: Serve meals on the 2nd Sunday of each month, 5:35 to 7:15 pm, on W. 80th St.
Young Life: Support students at Brandeis High School on W. 84th St. (Email Whitney Edge to learn more).
Teach, advocate, mentor (ongoing basis)
Avail: Become an advocate.
A House on Beekman: Mentor or tutor after school in the South Bronx or volunteer at summer camp (more details coming soon).
The Open Door: RWS-hosted Appreciation Dinner on Wednesday, April 30, from 6:30 to 9:15 pm.
