Modern life can also stratify us into “lifestyle enclaves”\, distancing us from the diverse needs and opportunities around us. How can we redesign our lives to build meaningful relationships with marginalized people while also effecting tangible change for the holistic flourishing of our city? \nThrough the collaborative efforts of Redeemer West Side and the Center for Faith & Work\, the Shalom Lab will equip you with tools from design-thinking\, asset-based community development\, and a biblical theology of kingdom change. By integrating faith\, vocation\, and community development\, you will: \n\nMake small but meaningful changes to your life to allow for deeper interaction with people from underserved and marginalized communities.\nLearn to identify specific areas of brokenness\, design and test solutions\, and implement tangible changes in your neighborhoods and vocational spheres.\nParticipate in a community of like-minded Christians committed to working out their faith to restore areas of brokenness\, fostering ongoing connection\, support\, and collective transformation.\nPitch newly developed proposals for seed funding\, with the potential to launch new programs and ministries.\n\nThis course runs for four sessions.
