DESCRIPTION:Connect with and serve our neighbors living in the Frederick Douglass Houses by giving out food to the community. The Frederick Douglass Houses are a low-to-middle-income public housing complex stretching from 100th to 104th streets between Amsterdam and Manhattan Avenues. Come be a part of building relationships with and loving our neighbors in the West Side! \nVolunteers needed: 5-6 volunteers per date\nWhen: 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. We start at 11:00 am and distribute food until it’s gone\, typically lasting 3-4 hours.
