Prelude

Welcome | Rev. Andrew Field, Executive Pastor

Call to Worship | Psalm 36:7-9
Leader: How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.
All: For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

Song of Praise | God So Loved
Come all you weary
Come all you thirsty
Come to the well that never runs dry
Drink of the water
Come and thirst no more

Come all you sinners
Come find His mercy
Come to the table He will satisfy
Taste of His goodness
Find what you’re looking for

For God so loved the world that He gave us
His one and only Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him will live forever

Bring all your failures
Bring your addictions
Come lay them down at the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting there
With open arms

For God so loved the world that He gave us
His one and only Son to save us
Whoever believes in Him will live forever

The power of hell forever defeated
Now it is well I’m walking in freedom
For God so loved God so loved the world

Praise God praise God
From whom all blessings flow
Praise Him praise Him
For the wonders of His love

Praise God praise God
From whom all blessings flow
Praise Him praise Him
For the wonders of His love

For God so loved the world that He gave us
His one and only Son to save

Bring all your failures
Bring your addictions
Come lay them down at the foot of the cross
Jesus is waiting
God so loved the world

Song of Praise | You Alone
We will sing a new song for You
Of Your power, salvation, and truth
You are the victory
You can never be moved
On our knees we will worship You, Lord
On our knees we will worship You, Lord
Here with this offering
We come into Your courts

Chorus
Splendor and might, beauty and light
You alone are the Lord
You alone are the Lord
Glory and strength, great is Your name
You alone are the Lord
You alone are the Lord
Trembling here at Your feet
The whole earth, the whole earth is singing

Let our idols fall worthless aside
Those glittering, treacherous lies
We come to the richness
Of the Lord God on high
Let the seas rejoice with a shout
Let the fields and the forests cry out
Creation exulting
Let us sing it out loud!

Chorus

Prayer of Adoration (concluded by the Lord’s Prayer)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Silent Praise and Thanksgiving

Doxology | I Love You Lord/Holy, Holy, Holy
I love You Lord

And I lift my voice

To worship You

O my soul, rejoice

Take joy, my King
In what You hear

May it be a sweet, sweet sound
In Your ear

Holy, holy, holy (I love You Lord)
Lord God Almighty (And I lift my voice)
All Thy works shall praise Thy name (To worship You)
In earth, and sky, and sea (O my soul, rejoice)
Holy, holy, holy (Take joy, my King)
Merciful and mighty (In what You hear)
God in three Persons (May it be a sweet, sweet sound)
Blessed Trinity (In your ear)

Prayer of Confession
Lord God, we have sinned against you; we have done evil in your sight.
We are sorry and repent.
Have mercy on us according to your love.
Wash away our wrongdoing and cleanse us from our sin.
Renew a right spirit within us and restore us to the joy of your salvation, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Silent Confession

Words of Encouragement | 2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Worship Element at 11:30 am: Baptisms and Membership Vows

Song of Praise | Draw Near, Draw Water
Sing, for the day is coming
When your grief will pass away
Sing in the dark, keep humming
For the night will fold into day
Sing, for the tide is turning
And your feet will touch the sand
Sing, keep your fire burning
Lift your head, your voice, your hands

Chorus
Draw near, draw water
From the springs of God’s saving power
Draw near my soul
For this is your hour

Sing, for a friend might hear you
And with you lift up their voice
Sing, and a neighbor near you
Might see God and with you rejoice
Sing in the stormy weather
When you’re lost and feel far from home
Sing so you will remember
God is here and you’re not alone

Chorus

Sing with the stones and sidewalks
Who cry out in praise of the Name
Sing in your heart and don’t stop
Jesus Christ is coming again

Chorus

Greetings and Announcements

Scripture Reading | Acts 4:32-37
32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.

36 Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”), 37 sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet. (NIV)

Sermon | Generous Church by Rev. Paul Yoo

Reflection Song | Come Ye Sinners
Come, ye sinners, poor and needy,
Weak and wounded, sick and sore;
Jesus ready stands to save you,
Full of pity, love and power.

He is able, He is able,
He is willing, doubt no more.
He is able, He is able,
He is willing, doubt no more.

Come ye needy, come and welcome
God’s free bounty glorify
True belief and true repentance
Every grace that brings you nigh.

Without money, without money,
Come to Jesus Christ and buy.
Without money, without money,
Come to Jesus Christ and buy.

Come, ye weary, heavy laden,
Lost and ruined by the fall;
If you tarry till you’re better,
You will never come at all.

Not the righteous, not the righteous,
Sinners Jesus came to call.
Not the righteous, not the righteous,
Sinners Jesus came to call.

Let not conscience make you linger,
Nor of fitness fondly dream;
All the fitness He requireth
Is to feel your need of Him.

This He gives you, this He gives you,
’Tis the Spirit’s rising beam.
This He gives you, this He gives you,
’Tis the Spirit’s rising beam.

Closing Song | May the Mind of Christ My Savior
May the mind of Christ, my Savior
Live in me from day to day
By His love and power keeping
All I do and say

May the Word of God dwell richly
In my heart from hour to hour
So that all may see I triumph
Only through His power

Chorus
May the love of Jesus
Be like waters of the sea
Filling heart and soul and mind
With silent majesty
Seeing ever more of Him
And ever less of me
This is victory

May the peace of God my Father
Rule my life in everything
That I may be holy comfort
To the suffering

May the light of Christ shine through me
As He seeks the lost to win
And may they forget the channel
Seeing only Him

Chorus

Benediction and Dismissal
Minister: Let us go forth to serve the world as those who love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
