Learning to Share Your Faith

January 18, 2026 @ 1:15 pm - 2:30 pm
Many of us want to share our faith but struggle to do so in a post-Christian context like New York. We may fear rejection, feel inadequate, or prefer to leave evangelism to the “experts” who seem more natural at it.
Join a group of people who want to become more effective in their Christian witness in our cultural moment. Over five monthly sessions, we will reshape our mindsets and learn tools and best practices for sharing the gospel today. As the participants of this cohort learn how to weave evangelism into their everyday lives, the hope is to grow a wider culture of evangelism in the church.
What will you gain?
  • Learn to take everyday conversations and organically turn them to spiritual conversations.
  • Practice how to answer the questions that people today commonly ask about the Christian faith, and also how to question the answers to life’s big questions that people implicitly hold in a way that winsomely provokes curiosity and openness.
  • Become more confident and excited in sharing your faith, and discover rich gospel opportunities throughout your everyday life.
  • Join a like-minded cohort community that will learn-by-doing together, sharing updates, stories, and encouragement along the way.
What to expect:
  • Five training sessions over five months.
  • Training and coaching from an experienced practitioner, Jen Chan.
  • Assignments to put teaching into practice.
Jennifer Chan is the Senior Director of Missional Engagement and Catalytic Training for Redeemer City to City. As the Missional Catalyst for the NYC team, she trains, coaches, and convenes leaders in the areas of discipleship and evangelism.
