Director of Operations & Facilities

The Director of Operations & Facilities oversees all staff related to operations for W83. The Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to day operations and maintenance of W83 Ministry Center facilities, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and functional. This role involves managing a wide range of tasks related to building systems, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure the seamless functioning of the organization’s physical assets. The Director will collaborate with various teams to address facility-related needs, implement preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Partners with the Director of W83 Staff & Programs to ensure optimal usage of the W83 building operations.

Youth Ministry Assistant

The West Side Youth Ministry Assistant assists the West Side Youth Ministry Director and West Side Youth staff in running key aspects of West Side Youth, a Gospel-centered ministry for youth grades 6-12. The Youth Ministry Assistant supports the Youth Ministry Director and Youth Ministry Manager by assisting in the implementation of the vision, mission, and goals of West Side Youth. West Side Youth is focused on sharing Christ’s transforming message with all NYC youth in a place where they will be seen, heard, respected, and valued. West Side Youth is a relational community that meets youth where they are at through authentic, discipling relationships. Our goal is to equip and empower students to know God, become disciples of Jesus Christ, and to be released into their God-given talents, gifts, and callings.

Youth Ministry Associate

The West Side Youth Ministry Associate is an important member of the Youth Ministry team, who works alongside the West Side Youth Director and West Side Youth Manager to lead a Gospel-centered ministry for youth grades 6-12. The Youth Associate will support the West Side Youth Team by assisting in implementing the vision, mission, and goals of West Side Youth and co-leading the high school ministry under the supervision of the Youth Ministry Director.

Youth Ministry Manager

The West Side Youth Ministry Manager is a core member of the Youth Ministry team, with the primary responsibility for leading and growing the Middle School Ministry. This individual also contributes to the overall development of West Side Youth (grades 6-12). This is a wonderful opportunity for someone transitioning from volunteer to professional ministry, taking experience and education and applying it in a practical environment.

Assistant Pastor of Community Engagement

The Assistant Pastor/ Director of Engagement serves various pastoral ministries with Redeemer West Side, allowing a new pastor to gain advanced skills in a center-church environment. This person works closely with other pastoral team members on church discipleship and pastoral care efforts. Oversee the church’s ministries of compassion, mercy, and care inside and outside the church. In addition, the Director provides pastoral advice and training for the Diaconate.

As part of the Events team, On-Call Events Staff assist with any building-related needs the event may require while also ensuring all clients and guests follow W83 Ministry Center building and event policies and protocols.

Elementary Sunday School Teacher

The Elementary Sunday School Teacher works under the Elementary Manager and Children’s Ministry Director to teach our elementary students grades K-6 on Sunday mornings during the services.  Hours from 8:30 am-1:00 pm (this includes prep time and time in between services) as well as 2 hours of prep during the week (all Lesson Plans provided to you by Elementary Manager – this role does NOT require weekly lesson planning).

Children’s Ministry Sunday Staff – Nursery & Preschool

Providing a safe, fun, gospel-centered environment for children ages 0 through preschool age during worship services on Sunday mornings. Physical activity required including playing with children on the floor, picking up children, changing diapers, taking children to the bathroom, disinfecting classrooms and toys, setting classrooms up, and helping teach when needed.
