Club 56 Elementary Sunday School Teacher

The Club 56 Elementary Sunday School Teacher works under the Elementary Manager and Children’s Ministry Director to teach our 5th and 6th Grade students on Sunday mornings during both services. Club 56 is a wonderful transition between our Elementary programming and West Side Youth. These students will be asking more in-depth questions about their Faith and making big decisions in this class. Hours from 10:30-1:30 pm (this includes prep time and time in between services) as well as 1 hour of prep during the week (all lesson plans provided to you by Elementary Manager – this role does NOT require weekly lesson planning).

Kids’ Community Group Teacher

Kid’s Community Group Teacher works under the Elementary Manager and Children’s Ministry Director to teach a group of our elementary students on Wednesday afternoons during Kid’s Community Group. Hours from 3:30-6:30 pm on Wednesdays, with 1 hour of at home prep time. (all lesson plans provided to you by Elementary Manager – this role does NOT require weekly lesson planning).

Youth Ministry Manager

The West Side Youth Ministry Manager is a core member of the Youth Ministry team, with the primary responsibility for leading and growing the Middle School Ministry. This individual also contributes to the overall development of West Side Youth (grades 6-12). This is a wonderful opportunity for someone transitioning from volunteer to professional ministry, taking experience and education and applying it in a practical environment.

West Side Youth is focused on sharing Christ’s transforming message with all NYC youth in a place where they will be seen, heard, respected, and valued. West Side Youth is a relational community that meets youth where they are at through authentic, discipling relationships. Our goal is to equip and empower students to know God, become disciples of Jesus Christ, and to be released into their God-given talents, gifts, and callings.

Elementary Sunday School Teacher

The Elementary Sunday School Teacher works under the Elementary Manager and Children’s Ministry Director to teach our elementary students grades K-6 on Sunday mornings during the services.  Hours from 8:30 am-1:00 pm (this includes prep time and time in between services) as well as 2 hours of prep during the week (all Lesson Plans provided to you by Elementary Manager – this role does NOT require weekly lesson planning).

Children’s Ministry Sunday Staff – Nursery & Preschool

Providing a safe, fun, gospel-centered environment for children ages 0 through preschool age during worship services on Sunday mornings. Physical activity required including playing with children on the floor, picking up children, changing diapers, taking children to the bathroom, disinfecting classrooms and toys, setting classrooms up, and helping teach when needed.
