High schoolers, West Side Youth is hosting a retreat January 20-22 at Spruce Lake that’s exclusively for you! High schoolers will get to enjoy a full weekend of rest, fun, learning, and building community together. Here are all the details you need to know:
Dates | Friday, January 20 to Sunday, January 22
Times | Friday departure from W83 at 5:30 PM, Sunday arrival at W83 around 3:30 PM
Location | Spruce Lake Retreat Center in Canadensis, PA, a beautiful retreat venue that we’re thrilled to visit!
Pricing | The fee includes lodging, food, activities, and transportation for the weekend. If pricing prevents you from being able to join, please complete our scholarship request form and return it to hello@wsyouth.com. We can and want to help!
Registration Deadline | Friday, 1/6/23 is the last day registration will be open
What to Expect | Each day will look a bit different, but Friday evening campers will arrive and attend a welcome session then enjoy time exploring the beautiful campus of Spruce Lake together. Saturday will feature team-building activities, worship & teaching sessions, and free time for enjoying Spruce Lake’s amenities. On Sunday, we’ll reflect on the weekend and consider what’s next for us post-retreat, then depart for home after lunch.
What to Bring | Must bring items: Warm clothes, tennis shoes, toiletries, any medication needed, and a Bible. Optional items: money for the camp store and snack bar.
COVID | All retreat attendees are required to receive a negative COVID test before our departure. You can take either a PCR test (within 3 days of departure) OR a rapid test the day of our departure.
