Living Justly

May 19 @ 1:15 pm - 3:00 pm

What does it look like to live a life of justice?

Followers of Jesus are called to more than just give money and volunteer occasionally – we are called to a whole lifestyle oriented toward the flourishing of all people.

To do that, we need a fully rounded understanding of what it means to be human and how humans and societies flourish. We also need to recognize the increasing complexities of our world, and how simplistic solutions can lead to unintended, ineffective, and even harmful results.

Join us for Living Justly, a workshop where we will explore the kind of holistically just life the Bible calls us to. Together, we will discuss what that can practically look like today, as individuals and as a church community. We’ll also have opportunities to consider collective initiatives that are happening in our neighborhood.

“And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8)

The cost for this workshop is $5 to cover the cost of lunch.
