Opening Reception for ECHOES OF BELONGING: A Collective Photo Exhibit with Purpose

What sets this exhibition apart, however, is not just its celebration of cultural richness, but its resolute mission to contribute to a greater cause—the “El Tránsito Centro de Artes” foundation in Nicaragua. The (ETCA) is a nonprofit organization on a mission to teach and empower the El Tránsito community through various forms of artistic expression like sewing, poetry, videography, and upcycled art.

This exhibition carries a clear purpose: raising funds to not only reopen the art center but also address crucial maintenance needs such as repairing library roof leaks, fortifying walls, safeguarding books against termite damage, and expanding workshop spaces.
