The Center for Faith & Work invites you to join the Vocation Lab, an interactive 5-week course designed to help you embrace your calling within God’s greater story. Whether you’re at a crossroads, feeling uncertain about your next steps, or seeking clarity and direction, the Vocation Lab is crafted to help you get unstuck and discern your path forward. Engage in meaningful experimentation with new actions and practices that will empower you to confidently step into the work God is calling you to do.
5-Week Vocation Lab Overview:
Session 1: Understanding Your Place in God’s Story (Meta Narrative) Explore the grand narrative of God’s story and find your unique place within it. This session helps you look up and see the bigger picture.
Session 2: Listening to Your Life Story (Past to Present) Reflect on your personal journey from past to present. This session focuses on looking back to understand how your experiences have shaped who you are.
Session 3: Understanding Who I Am in the Story of My Life (Present Awareness) Gain a deeper awareness of your current identity and circumstances. This session encourages you to be fully present in your life story.
Session 4: Envisioning the Next Chapters of Your Story (Goal Setting) Envision the future by setting long-term, intermediate, and short-term goals. This session helps you look ahead and map out the next steps in your journey.
Session 5: Living Your Story Day to Day (Cultivating Habits and Rule of Life) Develop practical habits and a rule of life that supports your ongoing growth and alignment with your calling. This session focuses on living out your story every day with intentionality.
