This psalm recounts some of the history of God’s dealings with Moses, Aaron, and Samuel. In their priestly calling, they called upon God’s name and he answered them. He gave them his testimonies and statutes. He answered, forgave, but also avenged their own wrongdoings! The hearers are invited to also call upon God’s name in a priestly way. All are invited to “worship at his holy mountain.”
