The Reformation Church regained many core truths of the church: Christians are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed by Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone. Against corrupt religious and political elites, many put themselves in peril to reform God’s people. In the process, they unleashed the foundations of the modern era when printing, literacy, common thought and equality rocked society. We can learn the beauty of proclamation and the risks of division.
