This is a sermon on God’s word and its narrative authority for our lives and the world. In this text we are reminded that Scripture is revealed by Jesus and are God’s words, which therefore take precedence over every other word we might hear. In a world that deconstructs truth, reducing it to personal preference and tribal moral outrage, this text “pulls us out of our complacent doze and puts us on our feet, erect before the reality of all scripture” (Reversed Thunder)
