Your thoughtful feedback is an invaluable gift that helps us celebrate what God is doing among us and prayerfully consider how he is leading us into the future. Below are a few key highlights.
What We Heard Loud and Clear:
· You Value God’s Word: The number one reason you are part of the RWS family is our commitment to gospel-centered preaching and teaching. A remarkable 89% of you feel that RWS is committed to living out the gospel in all aspects of life.
· Community Matters: The second most important reason you are here is the people—the relationships you have with friends, family, and staff. This confirms that God is knitting us together as a true spiritual family.
· You Are Excited for the Future: We were so encouraged to see that 81% of you are excited about the future of our church, and 90% believe that RWS contributes to making New York City a better place.
Where We’re Headed Together:
Your feedback also gives us a clearer vision for areas where we can grow together. You told us that while you feel proud of our church’s impact on the city and are comfortable inviting friends, you desire more equipping to personally engage in spiritual conversations and mercy & justice work. You also highlighted a desire to strengthen and deepen our church’s prayer culture. These are important growth areas—and ones that we are committed to continue leaning into.
As we move forward, we will be focusing our discipleship efforts on bridging this gap—helping each of us take the truth we know and live it out more confidently and consistently in our daily lives, through our words and our actions.
