Writing about the importance of counseling in the local church, the late David Powlison wrote, “Growth and perseverance in faith in Christ always has been, and is, and always will be a community project.” Trained, gospel-centered counselors are an important part of the community that can help someone apply God’s truth to the fullness and complexity of their own story and experience.
One of God’s gifts to us, the Redeemer network of churches, is Redeemer Counseling. Since the early 1990s, the leaders and counselors of Redeemer Counseling have been helping New Yorkers experience the renewal that is possible in and through the gospel.
