WS Update: Hospitality Isn’t Just for Newcomers

June 23, 2025

In a city where people are always coming in and going, it’s not always easy to find a sense of home – a place to be seen, known, and loved. That’s the kind of community we want to build at RWS.

Hospitality isn’t just for newcomers – it’s a culture we create together, where both long-time members and first-time visitors experience warmth, welcome, and meaningful connection.

As summer rolls in, we want to point you towards ways to plug in: grab a coffee at a Friday morning Coffee Club, run with the Saturday Dashers, catch a movie with our young adults in the Loft. We’ve also just kicked off a growing singles community – join us for our next event, Paint & Sip, and bring a friend!

As we seek to grow into a church that welcomes with joy, we invite you to take part in sharing in the joy of being known and knowing others!

Grateful to be in this with you!

Join us in the W83 Loft for a relaxed Singles Paint & Sip evening. Our wonderful instructor and painter, Jennifer Ahn, will guide us through a painting session – no experience needed! It’s a great chance to unwind, get a little creative, and connect with old and new friends. The cost is $20 per person. Your ticket includes the 8 x 10 canvas, easel, brushes, paint, snacks, and vino. Click here to sign up.
