WS Update: Invite a Friend to Our Spring Conference

March 9, 2026

If you’re a regular at Redeemer West Side, I want to take a moment to not only remind you about our upcoming conference, “Redeeming Anxiety,” but to invite you to consider if there are any friends or neighbors who you can bring along with you.

In an article for The Atlantic, Arthur Brooks cited a stat that said that at any given time, nearly 40 million American adults experience some form of anxiety. Modern technologies, political polarization, and epidemic loneliness have increased restlessness, worry, and fear. We are living in an age of anxiety.

Though this conference is put on by our church, it’s not just for our church. We hope this conference can serve our city, our friends, and neighbors, who are anxious, just as we are. Over two days, we’ll explore the unique resources Christianity offers to help us identify, articulate, and grow in and through the big and small things we worry about.

Please visit our conference website to learn more and to register.

In Christ,

Pastor Bijan

Registration is now open! This conference will feature teaching from pastoral leaders and trusted Christian leaders with experience in theology, pastoral care, and mental health. There will be practical exercises, community building, and worship, as we together not only learn what God says about anxiety, but experience him gently meeting us in our anxiety. Register by Monday, April 6, for early-bird pricing. Click here to access our conference website.
