The journey that began with ashes on a Wednesday has taken us to a place of hope and joy, Palm Sunday. The sermon will explore the longing for a King and God’s promise to provide one who will sit on a throne ‘for ever and ever’ (v12). Evil will be defeated and justice will reign. This is what was at the heart of the shouts of those who greeted Jesus as he arrived in Jerusalem, shouts that will change to ‘crucify him’ a few days later.
