Common Ground

Learning Together as Singles Across the Redeemer Network of Churches
Common Ground is the first Redeemer network-wide gathering specifically for single people. This class is a chance to learn, discuss, and come together over what we share.
Being a Christian single person in New York presents unique challenges and opportunities. So how, from a biblical perspective, do we approach the single life? That’s the question we’re addressing in the September 18 session: “A Theology of Singleness.” What is God’s design for singleness, and how should we be living in light of that?
The evening will open with cocktails, followed by a lecture from Jeff White and Marla Jea from Redeemer Downtown. Those who wish to keep the conversation going may go to nearby restaurants together afterward.
Common Ground is open to everyone who is not married and attends Redeemer regularly. Because of limited space, registration is required.
7 to 9 pm, at Redeemer East Side (150 E 91st St, New York, NY 10128).
Additional Common Ground dates for the 2026-2027 ministry year:
- Saturday, December 5
- Spring Date is TBD
