Gender: Goodness in God’s Design

Gender has become one of the most contentious issues in our culture today. These debates are understandably charged because they get to the heart of who we are as human beings.

In Gender: Goodness in God’s Design, we will tackle questions like: Is there anything distinctively good about being a man, or is masculinity irredeemably toxic? What unique dignity is there in being a woman, and why does the fight for women’s equality look the way it does today? What does it even mean to be a woman or a man? And what implications does this have for the way we relate to one another and move through the world?

Throughout this class, we will look at how we got to where we are today and how the Bible offers a beautiful vision of gender as a good gift that leads to wholeness and points us to God’s deepest purposes for the world.
