Redeemer West Side has been invited to participate in a pilot program aimed at normalizing conversations about death and dying in the church, and to participate in end-of-life learning together as a community. This program is an initiative by Here to Honor, a startup founded by Eva Ting (former W83 Director) and was incubated in the RWS Incubator last year.
This program is called “Journey Together” and is geared towards those who are on the frontlines of caring for others in their community. Its aim is to equip all of us, starting with care leaders, with perspective, practices, and preparations for living well and dying well. The program consists of three in-person workshops and three optional Zoom sessions between April and June, and will be taught by Eva and her team.
