Repentance is the first word of the Christian life (Matthew 3:2) and that which keeps a disciple from wandering off the path of discipleship. The first of the 95 Theses penned by Martin Luther says: “When our Lord and Master Jesus Christ said, ‘Repent,’ he willed the entire life of believers to be one of repentance.” Therefore this is the appropriate topic to start our lenten journey.
Lent season is upon us! Use this time to reflect on what Jesus has done for us.
