prayer walk
with redeemer west side

about
pursuing shalom in 2025
Join us for a day of intentional prayer in our effort to pursue shalom in our city! As we walk through our neighborhood, we’ll learn to see our city through God’s eyes and heart. This Prayer Walk is designed to cultivate our corporate prayer life as a church and strengthen our community in faith and fellowship.
For the prayer walk, participants will be grouped into small teams with a group leader and will be guided through a four to six-block radius within our local neighborhood of Redeemer West Side. Each group will walk and pray over our neighbors: local businesses, community organizations, schools, and other gathering places. After the prayer walk, we’ll regroup to debrief, sharing our experiences and encouraging one another.
What we hope you’ll gain by participating:
- A fresh perspective on our church’s neighborhood and city through prayer
- Ability and desire to prayer walk (wherever you go!)
- Community building and fellowship with others
Whether you’ve participated in a prayer walk before or are new to this experience, we invite you to come as you are!
