In 1 Corinthians 4, the apostle Paul reminds Christians that everything they have is a gift of God’s grace. When you receive a gift, one thing to do is say “thank you.” The more someone is aware of the wonder of Jesus’ grace and love, the more that person lives from a posture of gratitude.
But there’s something else you do with a gift: you steward it. You use it well. You honor the gift by stewarding it well for the future.
Just below, you’ll find a link to RWS’s Annual Report. As we look back with gratitude for the ways God has worked in and through our church this past year, let’s also look forward with a collective commitment to steward well the opportunity we have to love our neighbors and promote shalom in our city.
With hope,
Pastor Bijan
