Whether we are reading the Bible on our own or in a group discussion, we want to know that we are reading the passages correctly. What does it mean? How does it impact my life? Many people have asked us for training on how they can read their Bible better, no matter how much or how little experience they have.
Join us on Saturday, September 7, for a workshop on inductive manuscript Bible study. This proven method will transform the way you engage with the Bible. Learn to approach the text with fresh eyes to observe its details, interpret its meaning, and apply its truths to your life. We’re bringing in experienced trainers from InterVarsity to guide you through interactive exercises and group discussions, creating a safe and supportive environment for learning and growth. No matter where you are on your journey with Jesus, this workshop will equip you with the tools you need to dive deeper into God’s Word and experience its transformative power.
For decades, InterVarsity’s ministry has centered around manuscript Bible study, invented by InterVarsity staff Paul Byer in the 1950s. Manuscript study contains the three aspects of inductive Bible study: observation, interpretation, and application. Practice effectively studying God’s word, engaging in groups, and confidently leading studies in our communities. All training and knowledge levels are welcome! This event is $20 per person (includes lunch and training materials).
