Lent began last week on Ash Wednesday, but it’s not too late to start using this season to renew your Christian walk with Jesus. No matter who we are or what we have done, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). The gospel work of Jesus — his life, death, resurrection, and ascension — is complete for his people. My hope for our church community during Lent is that all of us will have a rich season of renewal. Some suggested guides are HFNY 40 Days of Hope, Gospel in Life, and Bible Gateway.
Faith & Work 101
Does my work matter to God? What does the Bible say about my industry? Why is work so often frustrating? What even is the point of my work?
In Faith & Work 101 we will seek to answer these questions (and others) by seeing what the Biblical narrative has to say about God’s purposes for humans and all of his creation.
