The Beatitudes of Jesus in Matthew 5 show a world that is upside-down beautiful. Jesus describes his followers as humble, pure, meek, hungry for good, and makers of peace. Disciples who learn from and spend time with their master begin to live like them, too. That combination of vulnerability and strength is the way that true peace is possible.
Holy Week services
Join us for Holy Week services the week of March 24-31. On Palm Sunday (March 24) we will commemorate Christ’s entry into Jerusalem on his way to the cross, and on Good Friday (March 29) we will remember his crucifixion for us. On Easter morning (March 31) we will celebrate Christ’s victory over death through his resurrection.
