The story of the Bible is about how God is pursuing us. Through all the joys, disappointments, and uncertainties of life, God is reaching out and wanting to make himself known to us. If ever we find ourselves searching for God, we can know that God has first been searching for us.
At Redeemer West Side, we are committed to hosting safe and welcoming spaces for people to explore the Christian faith. As part of this effort, we’re starting our second Alpha group, which will begin gathering just after Easter. Alpha is a dinner and discussion series designed for those open to exploring Christianity – seekers, skeptics, agnostics, atheists, and people of other faiths – through the lens of life’s biggest questions. “Is there more to life?” “Why do bad things happen to good people?” “Who is Jesus, and why does he matter?” Alpha is an environment where people can ask anything and challenge everything without coercion or judgment.
- If you’re exploring the Christian faith, we invite you to consider participating in Alpha. What better place to consider the big questions of life and discover who Jesus really is than a safe space over a meal?
- If you are a follower of Jesus, do you know any neighbors, colleagues, or friends who you think might benefit from a space like this? Pray for them, and consider inviting them to attend.

| Lend a hand at our monthly Church Family Meals. Serve at our welcome table for one Sunday a month at RWS. Subscribe to our Neighborhood Engagement Newsletter. HFNY 1: Join us in a special Easter Sacrificial Offering to extend the hope of Easter Sunday in a tangible way to our neighbors across New York City, so that each person might flourish. The entire offering will support programs that continue to help New Yorkers in need. HFNY 2: Pray for New York!
