WS Update: Gotham

April 6, 2026

Most of us spend that majority of our waking hours at work. God is not distant during those hours, rather he is intimately involved in our calling, our relationships at work, and the good we are made to produce. For many years, Redeemer has urged members to grow in their faith by joining The Gotham Fellowship. The Gotham Fellowship is a learning community, running from September to May, designed to deepen your connection to God’s redemptive work by applying theology, spiritual practices, and cultural renewal to your work, relationships, and life in New York City.

Each class brings together fellows from diverse professional and personal backgrounds and provides three key elements for integrating faith and work: theological training, spiritual and personal development, and community formation. Participants have shared how Gotham has been life-transforming and reshaped the way they view their place in the world. I encourage you to learn more and consider joining next year’s class.

Discover Gotham: Info Night & Social

Many of us feel the gap between who we are and who we want to be: in our work, our faith, and our relationships. That gap doesn’t close by accident. Intentional community, honest conversation, and a shared commitment to growth are what move us forward. On April 16 at Redeemer East Side, you’re invited to come over for pizza and drinks and hear from people who explored that gap through the Gotham Fellowship, a nine-month intentional community built around a shared commitment to be formed by Jesus, personally, vocationally, and relationally. Come hear directly from Gotham alumni and staff about what that journey looks like, what it costs, and how they’ve grown as a result.
